This set started with one song. One track that stirred something in me and set the tone for everything that followed. I built the rest of the mix around that feeling—intentional, steady, soulful. 120 to 127 beats per minute. A tempo sweet spot.
That BPM range isn’t random. It mirrors the rhythm of a brisk walk, or the sway of dancing when you’re not trying too hard. It’s often said that 120–127bpm is where soul meets movement, fast enough to lift you, slow enough to feel every layer. Music at this pace has a way of syncing breath and body, inviting presence without demand. It creates space for the nervous system to settle, and from that place, joy becomes more accessible.
This was recorded live on Twitch last night, and I’m sharing it here so you can return to it whenever you need to move or reconnect. Play it while you walk, stretch, drive, clean, or just sit and breathe.
We don’t always need words to process or release. Sometimes, rhythm (and movement) is enough.
So, with that in mind, you can now tune in once a month (or more, if I’m feeling inspired) to catch me streaming live. Next one coming up in later this month!
If you enjoyed this set you can support me by buying a coffee, share the link with a friend or subscribe. I also host all of my pre-recorded practice mixes on Mixcloud where you can listen for free.
